Lv Pintian, 1959, is a native of Shangrao, Jiangxi, and his ancestral home is Fengcheng, Jiangxi. 1975 as an art teacher in No.4 Middle School, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province; 1982 graduated from Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute with a bachelor of arts degree in design; 1982 to 1985, cadre of Arts and Crafts Corporation of Ministry of Light Industry, engaged in the production and management of national art ceramics; 1985 was admitted to graduate department, China Academy of Fine Arts, and studied art theory under the famous aesthetician and literary theorist Wang Chaowen. 1988 graduated with a master's degree in literature and stayed in the hospital to study art theory. 1990- 1995 served as editor-in-chief, editorial board member and deputy editor-in-chief of Art History. 1995- 1996, the host of Art Watch The Artist. He is currently the vice president of China Academy of Art and the curator of China Arts and Crafts Museum.
