Dai Linzhi's life
Dai Linzhi was born in Quetta, British India, on June 2, 2005 on19/kloc-0. His parents are William Lancelot crosby Day Linzhi, CIE (William Lancelot crosby Trench, 188 1 July 22nd-1June 2nd, 949) and Margaret Hudson (C.1889).

On 1925, Dai Linzhi entered tonbridge School in tonbridge, Kent, and then entered Jesus College, Cambridge University, and obtained the Master of Arts qualification. Shortly after graduating from college, Dai Linzhi joined the colonial government of 1938 British Solomon Islands Reserve as a trainee. Not long after, 1939, World War II broke out and Dai Linzhi was drafted into the army. 194 1 year, he was appointed as the deputy of the High Commissioner for Western Pacific Affairs. The following year, the Japanese army formally invaded the islands, and Dai Linzhi joined the British Solomon Islands Defence Force. During this period, he participated in many defensive wars and even boldly went behind enemy lines. The result was awarded 1944 by Britain and the United States respectively. World War II ended with 1945, and Dai Lin still won the rank of lieutenant colonel in the same year. After the war, Dai Linzhi stayed in the British Solomon Islands Defence Force until 1946.

1947, Dai Linzhi returned to the British Solomon Islands Reserve Government as a secretary. 1949 was sent to the British Joint Service Staff College in Buckinghamshire for one year. Later, in 1950, he was sent to the Hong Kong government, served as assistant secretary of the Deputy Defense Department in the Chief Secretariat, and was awarded \1956. In 1957, Dai Linzhi was appointed Commissioner of Labor and Mines, and was sent back to the UK for further study the following year, this time at the Imperial National Defense College.

From 1959 to 1960, Dai Linzhi was appointed as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State of Hong Kong, and from 196 1 to 1964, he was promoted as High Commissioner for Western Pacific Affairs. On April 1964 and 15, Dai Linzhi was formally sworn in as the 24th Governor of Hong Kong and Commander-in-Chief of the three armed forces stationed in Hong Kong, replacing Sir Bai. As Dai Linzhi has served in the Hong Kong government for a long time, he is no stranger to Hong Kong affairs.
