Xiao Huanghou Zhang (? -154 1 year), Ming Xiaozong, born in Jixing (now Qingxian County, Hebei Province). Father Zhang Luan, mother Jin. In the 23rd year of Chenghua (1487), Zhang was elected as the crown princess because of her outstanding personality. Xiaozong acceded to the throne and was made queen. Filial piety and queen Zhang have deep feelings and live together. The harem has no other concubines except Queen Zhang, and is the only monogamous emperor in ancient and modern times. (Supplement: Although some people say that Xiaozong has two concubines, it has not been confirmed. Filial piety gave preferential treatment to consorts for the sake of the queen, and named Zhang Luan, the old father-in-law, as Chang Guogong, Zhang Heling, his brother-in-law, as Shouninghou, and Zhang Yanling as Jianchangbo. The temple built for the queen is also magnificent. In the eighteenth year of Hongzhi (1505), Xiaozong died, and the prince succeeded to the throne, renamed Ming Chengzu, and Empress Zhang was the Empress Dowager. In the fifth year of Zheng De's reign (15 10), he was given the emblem "Empress Cishou". In the sixteenth year, since the collapse of Wu Zong, because there were no children, treacherous court official Jiang Bin and others had malicious intentions, the queen mother and university student Yang Tinghe decided to ban him and made Zhu Houzong, the cousin of Wu Zong, emperor, known as Ming Shizong in history. In the sixteenth year of Zheng De's reign (152 1), Sejong succeeded to the throne in March, calling Zhang Taihou the Virgin, honoring her as the "Empress Zhao Sheng Ci Shou" and honoring her grandmother Xiao Wei Shou An. After a long time, Sejong's indifference to Zhang Taihou slowly surfaced. He is filial to his mother and grandmother, and he is not very polite to Zhang Taihou. If a courtier plays, he will also be punished and renamed the virgin as aunt. Zhang Taihou's younger brother committed a crime, and Zhang Taihou failed in courtship and became ill. Finally, Zhang Taihou, whose evening scene was bleak, collapsed in August in the twentieth year of Jiajing (154 1), and posthumous title praised the empress as filial piety, Kang Jing, Su Zhuang, Ci Zhe and Yi Tian. Just after her death, Sejong executed her brother.
