At about 7: 40, Class C, who worked all night, made the last casting before leaving work. Zhang Xiaoliang and other workers from Class A also came to the workshop to make preparations before work. Traditionally, before the handover of two classes, a team meeting should be held to explain the work and emphasize safety. Ingot worker Wang Jianwei did not attend the meeting. He came down the stairs of the workshop, but he didn't stand firm when he heard a ding. Then the heat wave hit, and Wang Jianwei tried his best to escape.
Later, Wang Jianwei learned that the loud noise was made when the ladle full of molten steel landed. Spoon is a barrel container with a slightly wider top and a slightly narrower bottom. Although its surface is steel from the outside, its lining should be a kind of heat-resistant material called Al-Mg-C brick, because it contains molten steel at 1500 ~ 1600 degrees Celsius.
At that time, crane driver Zhu Lianwei was slowly putting down the ladle containing 30 tons of molten steel for casting. Rescuers could not get close to the meeting room immediately, so all 32 workers, including Zhang Xiaoliang, were killed.
Different from the familiar red steelmaking scene, the higher the temperature of molten steel, the greater the brightness. Steel at 1200℃ is pale yellow, and above 1500℃ it becomes liquid white molten steel. When the temperature reaches more than 400 degrees Celsius, the cement will become dregs, and the steel water above 1500 degrees Celsius will flow through, and the floor of the factory building will be destroyed.
Workers involved in handling the scene of the accident said that the density of the human body was lower than that of molten steel, and the bodies of the victims floated on the solidified steel cake, and the parts in contact with molten steel had melted. "The most bodies were found in two corners of the conference room, packed in 32 numbered bags." Some of these remains are only about 1 m, weighing more than 20 kilograms, which is completely unrecognizable. Only with the help of DNA technology can relatives find their husbands and sons.
At noon on April 18, relatives began to receive news of their family's death. Zhang Xiaoliang, 29, has a daughter who is less than 3 years old. The little girl still can't understand the pain of losing her father, while his young wife just shed tears and couldn't say a word.
