Shengze's earliest folk stories are still related to Liu Bowen. Legend has it that after Zhu Yuanzhang laid the mountain, Liu Bowen, who was looking around, saw five rivers around the East Baiyang when he passed the East Baiyang in Shengze. This is what is usually called the trend of five dragons taking water, and it is the symbol of the real dragon emperor. The feng shui in this area is very unusual. Liu Bowen built a temple on the bank of Hubei, which means to hold down the tap, so as not to rock the boat and compete with Zhujiajian for the world.
Shengze's earliest folk stories are related to Liu Bowen. Legend has it that after the founding of Zhu Yuanzhang, Liu Bowen, who was looking around, passed through the East Baiyang River in Shengze and saw five rivers around the East Baiyang River. This is the so-called five dragons with water, which is a sign that the real dragon is the son of heaven. The feng shui in this area is very good. Liu Bowen built a temple on the shore of Hubei, which means to contain the dragon head, so as not to make things difficult and compete with Zhujiajian for the world.
In fact, many ancient towns in the south of the Yangtze River are mostly related to this. One is that these places are really outstanding, and the other is that when everyone settled down to talk about him, they almost thought of Liu Bowen without much effort, carving out the seriousness of the ancient town in the south of the Yangtze River, but Liu Bowen, who was only ingenious, became an idle person, which was a bit wronged.
Shengze ancient town is famous for its alleys and silk. A common saying circulating in Shengze is that there are "72 and a half" hutongs in this place, and "72 and a half" is actually a rough figure. More realistically, there were more than 100 hutongs with names in Shengze in the late Qing Dynasty. These alleys are more like branches, dividing the ancient town into all directions, and so is an ancient town extending in all directions.
The alley is seventy-three, and there are new participants in the street. There is no road outside the door, and the loom is loud.
This poem was written in Zhi Zhu's Ci of Shengze 80 or 90 years ago, and it has a postscript, saying, "There are 73 public and private lanes in the town, and Changqing Square has added new forests, which is very popular and there is no post office." One of the 72-and-a-half or 73-odd lanes should be the newly opened Maolin Lane in Changqing Square, or Maolin Lane is the newly opened Youth Lane outside 73.
The protagonist of Xinkai Lane is squire Zheng in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. His initial experience may be a bit bumpy, and he felt too many changes in his life before. It is precisely because he experienced twists and turns prematurely that Zheng realized a lot of truth. It is because of these reasons that Zheng walked out of a different life in the ancient town of Jiangnan.
Related books record: "Mr. Zheng's name is Cigu, and his word is faithful, which is his name." At the age of two, Mr. Wang lost his father, was eager to learn, was weak in his crown, grew up, loved his country and people, was enthusiastic about public welfare and was kind in righteousness. After the Reform Movement of 1898, the trend of promoting learning and persuading business prevailed. In the twenty-seventh year of Guangxu, Mr. Wang built large-scale buildings, privately made money and grain, and recruited talents. He founded the first new school in Shengze-Zheng Primary School in his own hall. Two years later, he participated in the establishment of Shenghu Public School. In the thirty-second year of Guangxu, Mr. Zhang Qingyong and others initiated the establishment of Shengze Chamber of Commerce. After the Revolution of 1911, Wujiang recovered the motherland, and Mr. Zhong tui was the commander and minister of Shengze, and was elected as a provincial councillor. Mr. Wang's second son, Yong Chunhe, is both a professor in colleges and universities, and his daughter is Mrs. Liu Yazi. "
In this resume related to Zheng, there is no mention of new business, and Shengze people don't talk much. Everyone calls it the new business, which is a memorial to Zheng.
The east-west river divides the ancient town into north and south parts. The street in the north is Changqing Street, a narrow slate street, but there are many shops on both sides. This day is February 22nd of the lunar calendar. According to previous customs, it is a traditional festival to light lanterns. Everyone is very happy with such a tone. Before it was completely dark, the villagers in the four townships and eight neighbors had a good dinner early and headed for Changqing Street.
The main program at night is to watch the lights, so that the bright lights set off the bright artistic conception of the ancient town. Maybe it's a mixed blessing. The crowded Changqing Street suddenly caught fire. The fire first came from XieKang Xiang Cloth Shop, and then it got out of hand, boiling one by one, and everyone was in a mess. At this time, Zheng, who lives in Changqing Street, appeared, still according to the records in relevant books: "Mr. Zheng resolutely opened an account and accepted fugitives, which enabled many people to escape. After the disaster, Mr. Wang voluntarily gave up his home and turned it into a Maolin Lane. Since then, there has been a wide passage in the bustling Changqing Square, which has greatly facilitated the residents in the town. Maolin Lane leads to the main street and then to the alley. The wide marble pavement is unique in Shengze's alley family. "
On the one hand, Zheng's name has always been remembered by everyone. On the other hand, it can also be said that Maolin Lane or Xinkai Lane is a unique lane in Shengze, because Shengze is the "hometown of silk" and "the sunrise is full of horses and clothes all over the world". Therefore, the name of Shengze Lane is basically associated with satin, shuttle lane, Ludian lane, dyehouse lane and noodle lane. They should be Morizawa.
The gatehouse of Xianshen Temple is located on the bank of Yedu in Dongling, shengze town. This building, commonly known as "Zhuangmian", ranks first in the south of the Yangtze River. Together with the "Rebuilding Jidong Guild Hall" of Jidong Guild Hall, it is the history of silk vicissitudes in Shengze for more than a hundred years, and it is also the witness of Shengze's "sunny thousands of feet waves, the wind sends thousands of machines".
Or at the foot of the garden, or in Mulan Island, the scenery of Shengze is the scenery in the story, and the story of Shengze is the story in the scenery.
It is in Shengze that some stories go out from here to the lush land, and some stories come from the outside to the unique beauty.
