Related literature: Field efficacy of spiromesethyl and mineral oil against blueberry scale insects.

The control effect of snail ethyl ester and mineral oil on blueberry scale insects was tested in the field by spraying method. The control effect of the two drugs is reflected by reducing the rate and correcting the control effect. The results show that both drugs have certain control effects, and the reduction rate and correction control effect of snail ethyl ester 2 000 times solution are better than those of snail ethyl ester 1 500 and 3 000 times solution. The reduction rate of insect population and mineral oil 100 times solution have the highest correction and control effect, but there is no significant difference in the control effect between mineral oil 200 times solution and its 100 times solution 7 days after application. If mineral oil is used to control scale insects, from the economic point of view, 200 times mineral oil solution is selected.
