Wang Linlin was born in Beijing. He studied music since he was a child and began to learn piano at the age of 6, and won many awards. He began to study conducting at the age of 17, and studied under the famous conductor Professor Xin Xu. 1999 After graduating from the High School Attached to Tsinghua University, he was admitted to the Central Conservatory of Music with the highest total score, and studied under Professor Han Zhongjie, a famous conductor of the older generation in China. Due to his outstanding performance, he won the first prize of outstanding freshmen scholarship of Central Conservatory of Music, the first prize of "Shen Xingong" scholarship, Baosteel Education Fund scholarship and many other awards during his undergraduate period. At the end of 2003, due to his excellent performance, Wang Linlin was recommended as a graduate student by the Department of Conduction of the Central Conservatory of Music, and continued his advanced studies in conducting art with Mr. Han Zhongjie. In September, 2004, Wang Linlin began to be the assistant conductor of Mr. Li Xincao, a famous young conductor in China, and participated in the rehearsals of many important concerts of Chinese orchestras, which was well received.
