More than 2,000 years ago, in the Han Dynasty, Sima Qian recorded Lushan Mountain in Historical Records, Tao Yuanming created China's pastoral poems in Lushan Mountain, Hui Yuan became a monk and founded "Pure Land Sect", and Zhu rebuilt Bailudong Academy to preach "Neo-Confucianism". Up to now, more than 3,500 literati have visited Lushan Mountain in the past dynasties, leaving more than 1.6 million poems and songs, 1.3 million cliff stone carvings and a large number of paintings and calligraphy works. Among China's famous literary works, Tao Yuanming's Peach Blossom Garden, Back to Xi Ci, Li Bai's Looking at Lushan Waterfall, Zhou Dunyi's Love Lotus Theory and Su Dongpo's Xilin Wall Title were all born in this land. At the same time, Taoism, Buddhism, Catholicism, Christianity and Islam live on the same mountain, where many cultures meet and become a unique religious and cultural phenomenon. Up to now, Lushan Mountain has preserved more than 600 modern villas with more than 20 national styles. In modern times, Zhou Enlai, Zhu De, Liu Shaoqi, Chiang Kai-shek and Feng Yuxiang all visited Lushan Mountain, which once became the "summer capital" of the Republic of China. After the founding of New China, President Mao Zedong visited Lushan Mountain three times and presided over three world-renowned meetings.
