I am in America. I use Microsoft Word to write my resume. If I use Apple's Mac system, I can try iWork Pages. Usually these two are enough. There are ready-made templates for my resume. Fill in the blanks after finding what you like, and you can make a beautiful resume. But both are paid software. You can use OpenOffice for free. I am a computer major. I usually use Latex when writing articles and giving speeches. This is a professional typesetting software, but it needs some programming skills. If the landlord has a certain computer skills, you can use Latex. The output of this system is much better than that of word, and it is free.
