Send David to join the army

Chen Ziang

The Huns are still alive and Jiang Wei rejoined the army.

Disappointed to bid farewell to Sanhe, and said to chase six counties.

The wild goose mountain crosses the north, and the fox inserts the cloud.

Don't let it go, let Han take over.

The farewell poem was written by a good friend (surnamed Wei, hence the name, the head of the brothers). This poem is different from the usual farewell poem, wandering in a sad and sad mode. In a big way, it encourages the expeditioners to make contributions to the battlefield and expresses the author's lofty aspirations.

The first two sentences, "Huns still exist, Jiang Wei has surrendered", are shocking to read. From this, we can clearly understand the urgency of the border military situation and feel the pulse of the poet's fierce beating. The first sentence implicitly uses the allusion of Huo Qubing, the great enemy of the Han Dynasty, that the Huns are still homeless, and expresses the lofty sentiments of taking the world as their own responsibility. Here "Xiongnu". Referring to a few ruling groups that invaded the border at that time, the poet compared the troubles in the border of Jin with the policy of "harmony and Rong" in the Spring and Autumn Period, and changed "harmony and Rong" into "submission", which vividly expressed the poet's views on this war and also explained from the side that submission to Rong was a feat of defending the border and defending the country.

Three or four sentences in Three Rivers point out the farewell place.

Hedong, Hanoi and Henan rivers generally refer to the plain areas in the middle of the Yellow River Basin. "Historical Records and Biography of Huo Zhi" says: "The three rivers are the best in the world. If you stand on your feet, the king will live longer." This generally refers to the place where the capital Chang 'an sees off guests. "Six counties" refers to Jincheng, Longxi, Tianshui, Anding, Beidi and Shangjun. "Six county lords." However, they are duty-bound to serve the country, and they meet hand in hand: they want to gallop on the battlefield like Zhao Chongguo, a famous soldier in the Han Dynasty and a hero in six counties, and make meritorious deeds by killing the enemy. Although these two sentences have a sense of melancholy, they are magnificent in spirit.

"The wild mountain crosses the north, and the fox meets the clouds." These two sentences are about where David went to join the army. The word "horizontal" shows the importance of the geographical location of Yanmen Mountain, which is located in the north of Daizhou. The word "Jie" not only vividly depicts the preciseness of flying fox jam, but also points out that flying fox jam is connected with the county in the cloud, and they form a natural barrier in the Central Plains (Sanjiang). The scenery here is not in front of us, but in the poet's imagination, which can be written in real or imaginary ways. The importance of geographical location and the steepness of the mountain pass imply David's responsibility for this trip.

Therefore, the conclusion of the sentence "Don't let Ran Yan go up and stay in the Han Dynasty" is very natural. The allusion used here is Dou Xian, a general riding a horse in the Eastern Han Dynasty. He defeated the Xiongnu North Khan with outstanding military exploits, pursued the victory, and climbed Ranyan Mountain (now Hangai Mountain in the People's Republic of Mongolia), where he made outstanding achievements in carving stones. The author inspired him again.

The whole poem is full of enterprising spirit in one go, which shows the poet's "sense of the times to report to the country, and it is good to draw his sword" (poem 35 of "Feeling"). His feelings are bold and exciting, his tone is generous and tragic, and his heroic spirit is compelling. He reads like a drum and is full of vigor.

Allusions: 1 "Huns still exist" refers to the allusions of Huo Qubing, the general of the Han Dynasty, "Huns still exist and there is no home to return to".

Jiang Wei rejoined the army. Jiang Wei was a doctor in the state of Jin in the Spring and Autumn Period. He advocated that the state of Jin should unite with the surrounding ethnic minorities. He once said that "harmony and glory have five benefits." Later, Rong Di attached himself to it, and Jiang Wei was rewarded with stones for eliminating border disputes. Chen changed the word "harmony" to "obedience", which showed his views on frontier affairs at that time and hoped that his friends would be "versatile" like that.

3 "Say goodbye to Sanjiang and pursue the heroes of six counties." Heroes in Six Counties originally referred to the heroes in the above places, especially Zhao Chongguo in the Western Han Dynasty. It is recorded in Hanshu as "the son of six counties."

4 "Don't make Ran Yan climb the mountain, stay in the Han Dynasty." According to "Biography of Dou Xian in the Later Han Dynasty", Dou Xian was a general who rode a chariot, broke through Beikhanyu, boarded Yanran, and made meritorious deeds by carving stones.
