Chen, male, from Chengdu, Sichuan. Once cut in line in Gansu, China.

1982 graduated from the history department of Huazhong Normal University, and then studied in the photography department of Beijing Film Academy.

He studied under Professor Bernard Migne, the founder of French contemporary communication, and obtained a doctorate in information communication from Stendhal University (University of Grenoble III). His research fields mainly include communication theory, media culture, photography research and international communication. 1994- 1996, editor-in-chief of Europe-China Economic and Trade magazine in Paris, France;

1997 returned to China to teach and study visual communication for a long time. After returning to China, he taught in the journalism department of Jinan University in Guangzhou.

In 2000, he was transferred to the School of International Communication of Beijing Broadcasting Institute (now China Communication University) to engage in teaching and scientific research. He has served as an academic member of the Asian Media Research Center of China Communication University, a researcher of the Radio and Television Research Center, and a researcher of the Information and Communication Research Center of Fudan University.

In 2005, at the invitation of UNESCO, he went to Europe as a visiting professor of international communication.

2009-20 10 Visiting Professor, European Union University Consortium, erasmus mundus programme.

20 14 was invited by the University of Lorraine, France, and went to France to participate in academic certification as an international certification expert, and served as a visiting scholar. Currently, he is the vice president of Communication Research Institute of China Communication University, director, professor and doctoral supervisor of International Communication Research Center.
