How do enterprises choose online resumes?
In the workplace, a resume is like a matchmaker who matches companies and individuals. Whether you can find your favorite job smoothly depends on the ability of this matchmaker. In my long-term human resources recruitment process, I summed up some suggestions, hoping to help those job seekers who have repeatedly lost in the workplace, especially recent graduates.

1, a long resume is useless.

Length and thickness of resumes: recruiters spend an average of 1.4 minutes per resume. I usually read 1 page and a half of the material. A long resume is useless, and it is not easy to highlight the key points. The practice of attaching a large number of supporting materials to your resume did not increase the chances of admission, but it did not find any negative effects. According to my own consistent recruitment experience, I first look at work experience, followed by personal evaluation and training, so I don't need to find a stack of copies of graduation certificates at the back of my resume, which is generally required after the unit has passed the initial test.

2. The delivery effect of traditional letters will be better.

Delivery method: E-resumes submitted by email and websites receive less attention than those submitted by email. It will be reduced by about 23 seconds on average. In addition, we found that about 5% of electronic resumes will not be seen by recruiters because of network or other problems. Therefore, we suggest that the traditional mailing method should be used unless the employer obviously shows prejudice.

3. Hard indicators should be excellent.

Selection method: About 20% of employers admit that they will use some junior assistants to handle resumes, and these people will have some hard selection criteria. There are also 45% employers who think that when conducting primary elections, they only look at these hard indicators.

Common standards are sorted according to the frequency of use by employers: 1, CET-6 certificate; 2. Account; 3. Professional background; 4. The reputation of the school; 5. School performance. It is worth noting that these standards may not be indicated in the recruitment requirements, but you must have a clear idea and complete relevant information.

4. Foreign companies attach importance to English and schools.

Focus: There are some differences between companies in China and foreign-funded enterprises. Generally speaking, foreign companies pay more attention to English and school reputation, while China companies pay more attention to majors and hukou. The more popular a company is, the more it pays attention to its school performance. Students are advised to make different resumes and highlight different points.

5. The overall impression is important, and the courses you study are secondary.

Resume content: Only 23% people can roughly describe the specific activities and positions of students on their resumes after half an hour. They only have a general impression of the students' character. So: it doesn't matter whether you are the vice principal or the student union minister. The key is that you don't give the impression of being a nerd. But if you lie, it's easy to get away.

Many resumes will list their courses of study, and only 4% companies will read them carefully. Expert advice: you can make a list, but it must be important and cannot exceed one line.

6. Resume expression increases admission opportunities.

Expression ability: We think it is very important to express in line with the requirements. The resume of the same person, after being revised by experts, can increase the admission probability by 43%. The common problems of resume are: the expression is not concise, the words are too emotional, the English expression is not standardized, it is too long and unfocused, and the format is not standardized.
