Opportunities are always given to those who are prepared. In view of the fact that liver diseases are difficult to treat, the Ministry of Health has set up the National Office for Prevention and Treatment of Hepatitis B, and state administration of traditional chinese medicine has implemented the 1 13 project, which has selected a few outstanding experts of traditional Chinese medicine for special training in various provinces in China, so as to cultivate the leaders of the cross-century liver disease treatment discipline in China. At that time, Yang Guoqing, as a young and promising Chinese medicine practitioner, was selected as the only medical talent in Hubei Province in the first batch of 1 13 project, where he conducted systematic theoretical training and medical experimental research, communicated with leading experts in the field of liver disease at home and abroad, and discussed new topics of liver disease development with authoritative figures at home and abroad. He connected with the leading theory of liver disease at home and abroad, and learned the most advanced technology, which laid a theoretical foundation for further study of liver disease.
With the support of the 1 13 project, Yang Guoqing has done a lot of experimental research by using the good facilities provided by the state, and discussed the problems encountered in the experiment with many experts. His hard work and unique ideas also attracted the attention of Wang, director of the center. Director Wang, like him, comes from a family of traditional Chinese medicine. He found that Yang Guoqing's thought of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine treatment was exactly the same as his, and he loved him more, paid attention to training, and even shared his medical notes for many years, which made Yang Guoqing absorb a lot of nutrition. After reading director Wang's notes, I feel that the treatment of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine has unique advantages and cannot be bound by traditional theories. To make great improvement, we must have innovative breakthroughs, develop into newer fields, and have a new set of treatment methods combining traditional Chinese and western medicine.
In this way, the state strongly supported the 1 13 project, trained young medical talents and provided technical support for liver disease research, which not only consolidated the foundation of traditional Chinese medicine in Yang Guoqing, but also made Yang Guoqing have an innovation in understanding. He realized that he could no longer imprison himself in a strong atmosphere of traditional Chinese medicine like an old Chinese doctor. Dialectically speaking, Chinese medicine has a holistic view of comprehensive conditioning, but it also has the limitations of scattered functions and weak curative effect. Some TCM theories are limited by the scientific development level at that time and need to be developed and innovated. With the development of modern medicine, especially biology, the research on pathology and etiology has reached the molecular level, and breakthroughs have been made in the treatment of many intractable diseases. However, the destruction of the overall balance and short-term restrictions of western medicine have toxic and side effects on the organs of traditional Chinese medicine, which requires people to make new explorations. Yang Guoqing turned to study modern western medicine and biology, and applied modern medical technology to conduct in-depth research on the treatment of China's liver disease. Since then, he has published more than 30 papers in national academic journals with fruitful results. Pioneering and innovating, Yang Guoqing broke away from convention and refined himself into a "famous old Chinese doctor". He will leave the old academic atmosphere and exchange views with domestic experts and professors such as Guan Youbo and Zhao as a visiting scholar, especially under the long-term guidance of the professor of liver disease in the 302 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, and concentrate on the advanced medical information and medical achievements, so that he can always stand on the shoulders of giants and see higher and further.
1999 in may, Yang Guoqing led famous liver disease experts from Beijing and Shanghai to establish tongji hospital liver disease treatment center in Hangzhou. This is a team of experts with a high starting point, with first-class liver disease technology and a great reputation for a time, which quickly established the status of Hangzhou tongji hospital as a liver disease expert hospital in the medical field of liver disease in Zhejiang.
