According to the project plan, the development batch of C9 19 aircraft will carry out 6 flight tests and 2 ground tests. Six flight test aircraft need to complete more than 1000 compliance verification tests, and two ground test aircraft need to carry out static test and fatigue test of the whole aircraft. C9 19 large passenger aircraft will face the highest flight test in China aviation industry, and the project development will also enter the state of multi-aircraft flight test, multi-site flight test and multi-team participation in flight test. It is necessary to overcome a series of challenges such as security, technology, unity and cooperation, number of personnel, time limit and so on.
C9 19 aircraft is a 150-seat single-channel trunk aircraft independently developed by China in accordance with the international airworthiness standards. The feasibility study of the project was completed at the end of 2008.
