Zong Xinhua served as the head of the electronic channel center when the new Unicom was reorganized in 2008. In 2008, Netcom and Unicom were reorganized into the current Unicom. New Unicom set up an electronic channel center, which is the first operator to operate e-commerce business with an independent department. Zong Xinhua served as the general manager of the electronic channel center.
