1. Open PS and create a new blank document named "Cover psd". The width and height are 42 cm and 29.7 cm respectively, and the resolution is 300 pixels/inch. Mode is CMYK mode. Click the menu "View → Ruler" to bring up the ruler.
Click menu view → New Reference Line to open the Reference Line dialog box, select vertical as the direction, and enter 2 1 after the position.
A vertical blue reference line will appear in the center of the picture after confirmation, so that we can distinguish the front cover from the back cover.

2. Select the Rectangle Tool to draw a rectangle with the width of 1cm on the right side of the reference line.
