In June, 2004, Yong Yang received a doctorate in physical chemistry from Shanxi Institute of Coal Chemical Engineering, China Academy of Sciences, and then worked in the National Engineering Laboratory for Indirect Liquefaction of Coal. At present, he is the deputy director of the National Engineering Laboratory for Indirect Liquefaction of Coal, a researcher and doctoral supervisor of the State Key Laboratory for Coal Conversion, and concurrently the director of the R&D Center of Zhongke Synthetic Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd., mainly engaged in the research of catalytic chemistry of coal-to-liquids, including the preparation chemistry and engineering foundation of catalysts, the optimization of catalyst design and engineering scale-up, and the detailed analysis of the relationship between the microstructure and performance of catalysts. , participated in or presided over the research of several national major industrialization projects such as 863, 973, coal-to-oil demonstration project, 1500 tons/year, and 10,000 tons of synthetic oil catalyst device design and construction. As the main backbone, the industrial catalyst for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis in slurry bed with high efficiency and high temperature was developed, and industrial batch production was realized. The catalyst showed high reactivity and oil production capacity in the application of synthetic oil demonstration device, and it has been continuously applied for more than 4 years, creating obvious economic and social benefits for synthetic oil production enterprises. Yong Yang 20 10 won the first prize of National Energy Science and Technology Progress Award of National Energy Administration, and won the Outstanding Scientific and Technological Achievement Award of China Academy of Sciences in 2005 as a team member.
