Gan Zuchang, a major general of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, is a native of Lianhua County, Jiangxi Province, and is known as the "peasant general". General Gan Zuchang's revolutionary guidance was Fang Zhimin. It can be said that Fang Zhimin was the first head of General Gan Zuchang. 1in July, 926, Gan Zuchang joined the farmers' association and met Fang Zhimin, chairman of Jiangxi farmers' association. After the founding of New China, he served as Deputy Minister and Minister of Logistics Department of Xinjiang Military Region, and 1955 was awarded the rank of Major General. 1957 took the initiative to take his family home and work in yangqiao Township, Lianhua County.
