Huang zhong (? -220), the word Hansheng (a work called Uncle Han), was born in Nanyang (now Nanyang, Henan). A famous soldier in the late Eastern Han Dynasty. He was a corps commander under Liu Biao, and later returned to Liu Bei to help him attack Zhang. In 2 19 AD, Huang Zhong beheaded Xia, a general under Cao Cao, and was promoted to General Zheng in the battle of Dingjun Mountain. After Liu Bei changed the seal, he called the king of Hanzhong a general and gave him the title of Hou Guan. The following year, Huang Zhong died of illness, saying that he was just waiting to die. As a brave veteran, Huang Zhong appeared in various literary and artistic works of later generations. In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Liu Bei said that the Queen of Hanzhong made him one of the generals of the Five Tigers, and Huang Zhong's name gradually became a synonym for vigorous and powerful in China.
192 (the third year of Chuping), Li Jue and Guo Si, the former headquarters of Dong Zhuo, invaded Chang 'an. Liu Biao, the secretariat of Jingzhou, became a Jingzhou shepherd. Liu Biao is stationed in Xiangyang, namely Xiangfan, Hubei. Huang Zhong was appointed as a corps commander by Liu Biao. Huang Zhong followed Liu Biao's nephew Liu Pan. Liu Pan is based in Youxian County, Changsha, namely Youxian County, Hunan.
In A.D. 199 (the fourth year of Jian 'an), Liu Pan and Sun Ce fought in Ai, namely Xiushui, Jiangxi, followed by Huang Zhong.
In 208 AD (13th year of Jian 'an), Cao Cao sent his troops south, and Liu Biao died of illness. After Cao Cao went to Jingzhou, he acted as general Pi with Huang Zhong, and was still an official in Changsha County, under the jurisdiction of Han Xuan, the magistrate of Changsha.
In 209 AD (the 14th year of Jian 'an), Liu Bei formed an alliance with Sun Quan, defeated Cao Cao Jun, and Cao Cao returned to the north. Liu Bei took the opportunity to occupy Jingzhou and led Zhao Yun and others south to Changsha. Changsha satrap Han Xuan surrendered to Liu Bei. Huang Zhong surrendered after Han Xuan.
