Huang was jailed on suspicion of a criminal offence. The prosecution believes that Pastor Huang is suspected of committing a criminal offence because he participated in the following two incidents. Huang sent text messages and voice messages to the WeChat group, calling on members to resist the forced demolition of the "Salvation Hall" cross in Shuitou Town, Pingyang County. The demolitions were led by the "three reforms and one demolition" working group of Shuitou Town Government, and the main body of law enforcement was Shuitou Branch of Shuitou Town Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Administration. Planning for demolition began on the evening of July 20th, 20 1 1, and it was implemented after 3 am on July 2nd1,but it was abandoned due to strong resistance. A few hours before the forced demolition, the head of the rescue hall had reached an agreement with the leaders of the town government that as long as the rescue hall dismantled the cross by itself, the town government would not pursue the illegal part of the rescue hall. But a few hours later, the town government's forced demolition army surrounded the "Salvation Hall". In order to implement the forced demolition plan, Shuitou Town Government hired 300 security guards to disperse the left-behind people in the church through Wenzhou Longtai Security Company and Pingyang Guiyu Building Demolition Company. After the demolition began, 300 security guards rushed into the church and beat the people left behind, causing more than 20 serious injuries. So far, no one has been held responsible for administrative violations and criminal offences.
