The "China Young Female Scientist Award" was jointly established by the All-China Women's Federation, China Association for Science and Technology, China National Committee of UNESCO and L 'Oré al China in 2004, which is the development and extension of the L 'Oré al-UNESCO project "For Women Committed to Science" in China. "China Young Female Scientist Award" selects 10 outstanding young female scientists under 45 who have made great scientific and technological achievements in the fields of basic science and life science every year. Since 13, a total of 1 15 women have won the award, inspiring young women to join science with the power of example, and the authoritative position of the award has been widely recognized in China's scientific community.
