Flowers and birds came from wheat straw, and a breeze was flowing.

-Jiangxue Han meticulous impression

Text/reporter Zheng Feng Zou Guihua

Recently, literary friends in the circle made a contemporary collection of Lanting Ya. During the period, Brother Lu showed the picture album to the public. He did not hesitate to "talk about the item" and said a good word: "Ms. Jing Gongbi painter. You see, in spring and autumn, flowers and birds are suitable, although beautiful and elegant, it is really famous! "

So, I didn't think much, so I took it in my hand and read it again to verify Brother Lu's words, but I felt that the breeze was blowing everywhere, and my expression was brand-new: the first picture of the album, "Nine Fragrant Peanuts", was written in pastel, and reflected in Shan Ye, a banyan tree in Qingjian, with the inscription "Pink is whiter and yellow, no one is fragrant".

With the opening of the album page by page, the beautiful spring scenery of birds and flowers is flying one by one. In the blink of an eye, you have walked in the south of the Yangtze River, and birds are singing all the way to Chunshan, making a pleasant spring outing.

Those who care say: flowers can express words, birds can convey feelings. As far as painting art is concerned, if it can reach this level, it will be a stunning eye and a wonderful painting. Who owns this picture book? So I asked Brother Lu.

Jiangxue Han is a meticulous flower-and-bird painter in Beijing, vice-president of Beijing Yellow River Painting and Calligraphy Institute, vice-president of Beijing Long Mai Hot Spring Painting and Calligraphy Institute, secretary-general of China Flower-and-Bird Painting Research Association, director of Artists Association of Central State Organs, member of China Women Artists Association, member of Qi Baishi Art Research Association and member of China Couplet Society.

In the early 1980s, he studied calligraphy and seal cutting from the famous calligrapher Mr. He Yongze. He was diligent in searching for historical sites, learned from others, and became more and more refined in seal cutting. Later, he devoted himself to calligraphy and painting, especially the meticulous flower-and-bird painting by Tian Shiguang, a master of modern painting. As far as origin is concerned, he studied Chinese painting under the famous flower-and-bird painter Su, Su and Su, and made a living from it.

People in the painting and calligraphy circles believe that Jiangxue Han has a unique artistic heart of painting, pursues elegant, lively and energetic artistic conception, and has a face close to nature, life and tradition, thus showing a beautiful and enjoyable artistic effect. A pen in hand drives wishful thinking, full of color, soft and boneless. It is full of idle flowers and grass, or it is full of flowers and endless fun. Its exquisite and elegant posture not only shows the poetry of Tang and Song Dynasties, the style of Song and Yuan Dynasties, but also has the flavor of the times and personal style.

Because of this, Jiangxue Han's works are deeply appreciated by the predecessors of calligraphy and painting, and sought after by collectors and enthusiasts. She is regarded as a female painter with great collection value and appreciation potential, and her works are widely circulated at home and abroad. In 2009, he was awarded the National Master of Ritual Art in New China by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Meticulous flower-and-bird painting has a long history. Through the tunnel of time, Huang Quan and Xu Xi of the Five Dynasties outlined the exquisiteness and wildness of meticulous flower-and-bird painting. In Song Dynasty, a group of outstanding painters such as Huang Jucai, Zhao Chang, Yi Yuanji, Cui Bai, Evonne and Li Di created the brilliance of meticulous flower-and-bird painting. In the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, "Bian" continued the spirit of meticulous painting. The meticulous flower-and-bird paintings in Ming and Qing Dynasties are represented by Chen Hongshou and Ren Yi. In modern times, there were Yu Feian, Chen Zhifo and Tian Shiguang, who made great contributions to the revival of traditional meticulous flower-and-bird painting.

Jiangxue Han's paintings draw on many talents. There is inheritance, development and innovation. The combination of softness and quietness, "dancing" mountain birds and "angry" flowers in her works are full of vitality and unique aesthetic taste.

Peony, a symbol of glory, has always been one of the most important themes of flower-and-bird painting, but it has long been vulgar when it is touched by people. Many experts dare not compliment the peony pictures that can be seen everywhere in the world. It was Li Tang, the master of court painting in the Song Dynasty, who wrote a helpless and ironic poem: "I don't know when it is out of date, buy more rouge and paint peony flowers." .

In Jiangxue Han's picture book, the traditional "peony picture" brings forth the old and brings forth the new-"the world of flowers and flowers is innocent": there are two Bai Niao in the blooming peony flowers, which makes the gorgeous and noisy picture have a unique artistic conception.

Ms. Han Jiangxue explained that her work "A world of flowers, a clean body" was created for an exhibition of clean government culture. Flower-and-bird painting is not easy to express the theme of clean government. How does peony connect with clean government? I thought of' colorful world, innocence'. We paint not only for techniques, but also for literature and art, and make some contributions to society.

She is creating a "peaceful spring" for the exhibition "Art and Peace". The dove of peace in the picture is as white as jade, flying vividly in spring, as if playing a song of peace.

Such works have novel ideas and profound implications, and the artistic value is also reflected here.

Besides peony, Jiangxue Han also likes to draw day lilies. What is the explanation?

Han Jiangxue revealed her unique artistic experience: In China, the meaning of day lily is to forget your troubles. In Meng Jiao's "Poems of Wandering Children" in the Tang Dynasty, the day lily was born in the hall, and the wanderer traveled all over the world; The loving mother leaned against the hall door, but she didn't see the day lily. In ancient times, if a wanderer wanted to travel far, he would first plant day lilies in Beitang to represent his mother. I hope the mother will miss her children less and forget her troubles. Hemerocallis are also called suitable for men. According to folklore, when a woman is pregnant, she will give birth to a boy by inserting a day lily in her chest, so she is called a man. Many men like day lilies. "The most difficult thing about Hemerocallis Hemerocallis is its leaves. Day lily has lush leaves, which vary from top to bottom. I want to outline the leaves of day lily with vigorous strokes to show the fortitude in men's hearts in the coming year.

When Han Jiangxue came here at the request of a reporter, he explained his artistic views in simple language.

She said: "I think the highest realm pursued by China's traditional painting is' artistic conception'. Artistic conception is the spiritual connotation, conveying thoughts and pinning feelings. Artistic conception is the inner feeling of things and the expression of emotions. Painting should be conceived around "artistic conception" My painting is to use some painting techniques, including a flower, a stone, a grass and a tree, to embody my thoughts, my understanding of nature and my understanding of art in my works as much as possible, and to interpret them according to my ideas, so as to achieve the aesthetic effect of lyricism by borrowing scenery and supporting things. Of course, a high artistic conception requires a certain degree of inner cultivation and talent, and it takes a long process of practice. I am still deeply studying traditional culture, constantly improving my understanding of the world, exploring the expressive power of art, and pursuing the realm of harmony between man and nature. "

Shi Tao, a great painter in Ming Dynasty who is equally famous with Xu Wei, left a famous saying for China painting circle: "Search for famous paintings". Due to the limitation of subjective and objective conditions, how many people can travel around the world through the ages? For those who are interested in "the discovery of beauty", the phrase "although you can't reach it, your heart is yearning" has laid the cornerstone of your artistic success.

A detail told by Jiangxue Han left a deep impression on the reporter, which also revealed her success in painting art. "Every spring outing, if I go for an outing in the suburbs, I often spend half an hour squatting next to a stone, which many people don't understand. In fact, in the wild, tiny grass often grows in the cracks of these big rocks. In such a harsh environment, it can still grow tenaciously, and it is so green. I want to know how to show this beauty and spirit and its vitality.

Today, Ms. Han Jiangxue is still busy with official business, working in the General Administration of the US Food and Drug Administration in Beijing. She said frankly: She has worked hard in painting, and now all her spare time is devoted to creation. She has gradually moved towards the road of professional painting, and will devote all her energy to the cause of painting art after retirement.

If you pursue the true meaning of art, success is inevitable.

It was still in the Ming Dynasty that a great collector praised the ink and flower-and-bird paintings of osmanthus.

Painting dragons, tigers, apes, cranes, reeds, wild mountains, water, trees and stone figures are all "written in ink", with simple meanings and no ostentation ... Their shapes are all outlined from life, almost ingenious, not only similar in appearance, but also have their own "meanings".

In the reporter's opinion, with the passage of time, Ms. Han Jiangxue will further move towards the above artistic realm.

Flowers can explain the love of birds, and spring and autumn are new.

-Dialogue with Jiangxue Han

Reporter: As far as I know, Chinese painting attaches great importance to learning from teachers. So, how did you get on the road of painting?

Jiangxue Han: I like painting and calligraphy since I was a child. During my primary and secondary school years, I learned some basic painting knowledge such as sketching in the school art group. After studying under the famous calligrapher and seal engraver Mr. He Yongze, he studied seal script and seal engraving, and made some explorations on seal script and seal engraving. Later, because I often organized and participated in some calligraphy and painting activities, I had the opportunity to associate with a group of famous painters and painters in Beijing, and I also had many learning opportunities, which benefited a lot.

I prefer the style of Tian Shiguang, so I chose meticulous painting. My meticulous painting teacher is Mr. Zhang Yuqing, a famous meticulous painter. My freehand brushwork teachers are Mr. and Mr. Su, the famous freehand brushwork masters. During so many years of study, several teachers gave me personal advice and oral guidance, so that my salary was passed on and my painting level was improved.

Reporter: I read your calligraphy inscription, which has a golden stone flavor. Calligraphy pays attention to lines. Is learning calligraphy helpful for painting?

Jiangxue Han: Very helpful. China's meticulous painting always pays attention to the vigorous and vivid lines. Line and ink color are the basic points of meticulous painting, and the thickness, weight, choice and frustration of lines; Shade, dry and wet Jiao Mo can show the relationship between reality, distance and space. Good lines can be as rhythmic, elastic and varied as music. The cadence lines need the basic skills of calligraphy, so the study of calligraphy plays a very important role in my meticulous painting.

Reporter: Most of China's flower-and-bird paintings pursue artistic conception. How do you understand the artistic conception of China's traditional painting? How can we "completely show the artistic conception"?

Jiangxue Han: The traditional meticulous painting in China advocates "meaning first" and "meaning creates the environment". Pay attention to the far-reaching realm and pursue emotional resonance. I think "artistic conception" does not completely exist in nature, but is a combination of nature and the creator's thoughts; Everyone has different feelings about beauty, so the artistic effects of the same theme are completely different. How to interpret the "artistic conception" of meticulous flower-and-bird painting is far-reaching. I think painting needs to express its love for natural life through rigorous modeling, orderly arrangement, deep sense of space in nature, harmonious state of flowers and birds, and give people the feeling of "harmony between man and nature".

Reporter: The peony you painted is very artistic. Many people draw peony flowers, but it is not easy to draw them well. Li Tang is a bridge between the Northern Song Dynasty and the Southern Song Dynasty, and a court painter. He wrote a poem: "I don't know when it will expire, buy more rouge and paint peonies." What is the feeling of wanting to draw peony when creating, and how to achieve this effect?

Jiangxue Han: Generally speaking, the theme of painting peony shows splendor, bright spring and spring. When expressing its wonderful, we must show grace and connotation. This requires the proper use and treatment of colors, rich and harmonious tones, in order to make the picture elegant and elegant.

Reporter: The history of meticulous flower-and-bird painting has exceeded 1000 years. How do you think to make China meticulous painting more expressive? What do you think is the future development direction? Or how to keep pace with the times-it not only has the interest of traditional aesthetics, but also conforms to the aesthetic trend of today's times.

Jiangxue Han: China's traditional meticulous painting has the characteristics of "rigorous attitude, true image, exquisite and profound artistic conception". China's traditional meticulous painting expresses the aesthetic taste of his works through techniques such as composition, lines, ink color and artistic conception. In my opinion, today's China meticulous painting should be based on the ancient method, learn from the perspective, anatomy and optics of the West, innovate some modern techniques, shapes and colors, and integrate them into the traditional China meticulous painting to break through the traditional "plane" and create a deep sense of space, so that the expressive force will be stronger, your understanding of painting art will be better interpreted, and China meticulous painting will be more contemporary.

Reporter: Do you use western optical works in your current works?

Jiangxue Han: I'm creating a work with the theme of "Pear Blossom". I'm trying to show my ideas better in this painting.
