In the early 1980s, when hundreds of singers sang Let the World Be Filled with Love, Hu Xiaoqing was one of the leading singers. 1986, Hu Xiaoqing was rated as one of the twelve stars in China music scene, and Hu Xiaoqing sang theme songs and interludes for more than 20 films such as Dream of Red Mansions, Buddies Getting Rich and Phantom.
Hu Xiaoqing joined the China Coal Mine Art Troupe and was deeply appreciated by composer Zhao Jiping, and was given the opportunity to sing the theme song of "Da Zhai Men". Although Hu Xiaoqing hasn't seen "Da Zhai Men", relying on his singing talent and the hardships of going to sea in recent years, Hu Xiaoqing completed this song in one go and won high praise from people.
