17 (1976) began to write songs, which attracted the attention of female students in high school, but his works were not published.

At the age of 18 (1977), he co-authored and published the first song "Liangshan in July". In the same year (1977), he independently composed the first song "The Past of the Breeze on the Train to Chenglingling", composed by Hong Guangda, which attracted the attention of the music circles in Taiwan Province Province.

19 (1978) became the youngest record producer of Rolling Stone in Taiwan Province Province.

At the age of 20 (1979), he wrote "Morning in the Wind" when he was a soldier, and Hong Guangda wrote lyrics.

When he was in his twenties (198 1- 1984), Teresa Teng, Steven Liu, Huang Yingying, Feng Feifei and other famous composers invited songs.

Ma Zhaojun has produced many albums by famous singers, such as ChristianRandPhillips, Wu Qixian, Jeff Chang Shin-Che Shin-Che and Yi Nengjing, and almost all his records have been sold.

Some people commented that Ma Zhaojun's death represents the passing of a glorious folk song era in Taiwanese accent. After 30 years of music, it can be described as "an endless song is a swan song".
