Liu Qiang's character deeds
Investigated and dealt with many major cases.

As the chief investigator and case undertaker of the Anti-Corruption Bureau, since 2005, Liu Qiang has put on record 26 major cases of corruption and bribery, and investigated and dealt with 35 cadres at or above the departmental level, saving the country nearly 10 million yuan in direct economic losses. Especially in 2005, when he investigated the case of Zhang Moumou, the former general manager of Jilin Electric Power Materials Corporation, he was not limited to the case of Zhang Moumou itself, but focused on discovering new criminal clues, and cracked three extraordinarily serious cases, namely, Yang's bribery, embezzlement of state-owned assets, Liu's embezzlement of public funds, Wang's corruption, bribery and embezzlement of state-owned assets, which have been widely told in the college so far.

In 2006, Liu Qiang participated in the Shanghai project organized by the Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC Central Committee and the Supreme People's Procuratorate, and was responsible for investigating and handling the case of Sun, former deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Municipal Committee and director of the General Office, who was suspected of taking bribes. In 2007, as the only case handler of the Anti-Corruption Bureau of Changchun Procuratorate, he participated in the investigation and handled two main facts of the case of Chen Liangyu, former member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee. In the process of handling Chen Liangyu's case, he accepted the investigation task of Wang Weigong, the former deputy general manager of Shanghai Shenneng Group Company, who was responsible for investigating the fact that he received nearly 10 million yuan of extra-large bribes.

Be very careful when handling iron boxes.

"Doing anti-corruption work means paying more. Only by winning the case can we appreciate the fun of handling the case. " He said so and did the same.

At the end of 2004, when he handled the bribery case of Zhang Moumou, the former general manager of Jilin Electric Power Materials Corporation, the amount of bribes in this case was huge, with a total of 10 facts, each of which was equivalent to an independent case, and the bribers were mostly in other places, so the time was tight and the workload was heavy. In order to handle this case well, he went to Beijing, Tianjin, Guangdong, Nanjing, Heilongjiang and other places to investigate and collect evidence. During the nearly eight months from 65438+February 2004 to July 2005, he didn't take a vacation, and his personal trip exceeded 100 days. In the end, through his unremitting efforts, he found all the bribers and related witnesses in this case 10, and obtained a lot of reliable and sufficient evidence, so that all the stolen money was recovered.

When dealing with the bribery case of Wang Moumou, a leading cadre in the Green Park, he broke the traditional anti-corruption case-handling mode of "reporting leaders for investigation", jumped out of the traditional mode of "casting a net at the beginning of investigation" and took the initiative to use various information and intelligence materials to obtain clues to the case. By investigating the bribery case of Zhong Moumou, the former director of the Land Use Department of the Bureau of Land and Resources, we found the clue of Wang Moumou's bribery case. Through the bribery case of Liu, the former secretary of the Party Working Committee of the Western New City Development Zone, we accurately found out the criminal fact that Wang Moumou accepted the developer Zhao Moumou's RMB 65,438+10,000 and two gold bars from Liu's bribery case. On the basis of grasping the facts of the crime, Liu Qiang was deeply moved by Wang's understanding and emotion during the inquiry, and gradually confessed his own problems.

Never care about personal gains and losses

Liu Qiang has been working in the front line of anti-corruption for a long time. He works hard and obeys the overall situation. He has never influenced the case for personal reasons. In February 2007, Liu Qiang's uncle was diagnosed with leukemia. Liu Qiang has booked a plane ticket and decided to accompany his uncle to Tianjin Blood Hospital for further examination and preparation for bone marrow transplantation. But just before departure, he received a notice to go to Shanghai to handle a case. After several hesitations and struggles, Liu Qiang finally chose to return his plane ticket, bid farewell to his uncle and report to the Shanghai task force. I worked in the Shanghai team for two years. During this period, Liu Qiang's wife was transferred to work, her daughter went to primary school, and her family and parents moved one after another. Liu Qiang can only give these burdens to his wife.

Bitterness at work can be swallowed after careful chewing, but it is still sweet when a major case is arrested; The hardships of life, with the understanding and support of his wife and children, can still be borne. What bothers him most is the incomprehension of the people around him. Liu Qiang knows very well that the greater the work performance, the more people will be offended. When handling the bribery case of Gu Moumou, the general manager of an asset management company, the relatives of the suspect personally sent 5,000 yuan to the door in order to win leniency, hoping that he could be lenient, but he sternly refused. The relatives of the suspect refused to give up and came to his office again with a thick stack of shopping cards, put them in the drawer and left. He flatly refused the other party's request and handed over the gift money to the hospital to explain the situation to the unit in accordance with relevant regulations, which is worthy of the sacred duty of a prosecutor.
