Li Yu, born in 1968, a native of Shanyin County, Shanxi Province, has a doctorate in history. In April 2000, he was named as an associate professor, in February 2007, he was hired as a professor, and in May 2008, he was named as a doctoral supervisor. Mainly engaged in the study of China's modern economic history, enterprise system history and China Kuomintang history. He has taught compulsory and elective courses such as Modern History of China, Review of Modern History of China, Research on Modern Economic History of China and Modern Enterprise System of China for undergraduates and postgraduates. He worked as a postgraduate counselor in the history department for many years, and now he is the executive editor of the Republic of China Studies.
