Xinkai Town is located in the southwest of Huangmei County, 42 kilometers away from the county seat, bordering on the Yangtze River and facing Jiujiang City and Ruichang City of Jiangxi Province across the river, with a total area of 73.97 square kilometers and a population of 63,000.
