Chapter 14 of People's Republic of China (PRC) Civil Servant Law
Article 87 A civil servant shall retire if he reaches the retirement age stipulated by the state or completely loses his working ability. (Note: 201On April 65, 438, 2005, the Central Organization Department and Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued a document stipulating that female cadres above junior level can postpone their retirement until they reach the age of 60. )
Article 88 A civil servant who meets one of the following conditions may retire early if he voluntarily applies and is approved by the appointment and removal organ.
(1) Having worked for 30 years;
(two) less than five years from the retirement age stipulated by the state, and the working experience has reached twenty years;
(three) other circumstances that meet the requirements of the state and can retire early.
In addition to the provisions of the Civil Service Law, cadres at the official level with senior titles or special skills due to work needs may postpone their retirement with the approval of the organization, but generally they shall not exceed the statutory retirement age of five years.
At the same time, all provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions stipulate that departmental cadres should retire to the second line three years in advance.
Civil servants shall perform the following obligations:
(a) be loyal to the Constitution, abide by the Constitution and laws, and consciously accept the leadership of China;
(2) Being loyal to the country and safeguarding its security, honor and interests;
(3) Being loyal to the people, serving them wholeheartedly and accepting their supervision;
(four) be loyal to their duties, be diligent and conscientious, obey and implement the decisions and orders made by superiors according to law, perform their duties in accordance with the prescribed authority and procedures, and strive to improve the quality and efficiency of work;
(five) to keep state secrets and work secrets;
(six) take the lead in practicing the socialist core values, adhere to the rule of law, abide by discipline, abide by professional ethics, and abide by social morality and family virtues;
(7) Honesty, impartiality and integrity;
(eight) other obligations stipulated by law.
