Participants in general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation can be changed, but the changes must conform to national policies. The following are the requirements for changes, which can be followed. Measures for the Administration of Fund Work of Supporting Units of the National Natural Science Foundation of China (adopted at the meeting of the National Natural Science Foundation of China in June, 20 14) Article 16 In case of any of the following circumstances during the implementation of a project funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the supporting unit shall timely submit an application for changing or terminating the implementation of the project and report it to the National Natural Science Foundation of China for approval: (1) The project leader is no longer a scientific and technical personnel of the supporting unit; (two) the person in charge of the project can not continue to carry out research work; (three) the person in charge of the project plagiarizes other people's scientific research achievements or practices fraud in scientific research; (four) other circumstances that need to be supported by the unit.
