Meng Tian (? -210 years ago), Ji surname, Montessori, a native of Qi State (now Mengyin County, Shandong Province), was a famous soldier in the Qin Dynasty. Meng Tian was born into a family of several generations of celebrities. Grandfather Meng Ao and father Wu Meng are both famous soldiers of Qin State. Influenced by family environment, they have been ambitious since childhood.

In 22 1 BC, Meng Tian was made a general and attacked Qi. He was worshipped as a literary history because of his meritorious service in fighting against Qi, and his brother Meng Yi was also the supreme of Qing Dynasty. The Montessori brothers were deeply loved by Qin Shihuang, Meng Tian served as foreign minister, and Meng Yi often colluded, which was called "faithfulness" at that time. Other generals dare not compete with it. After Qin unified the six countries, Meng Tian led 300,000 troops to attack the Huns in the north. Recovering Henan (now in the area of Ordos City in the south of Hetao, Inner Mongolia), building Lintao (now in Min County, Gansu Province) in the west, and building the Great Wall of Wan Li in Liaodong (now in Liaoning Province) in the east, and fighting in northern Xinjiang for more than ten years was a great shock to the Huns.

In the winter of 2 10 BC, Qin Shihuang died of illness, and Zhongche Mansion ordered Zhao Gao to secretly plot a coup with Prime Minister Reese and son Hu Hai to establish Prince Hu Hai. After Hu Hai acceded to the throne, the Montessori brothers were allowed to die, and Meng Tian committed suicide by swallowing medicine.

Meng Tian's grandfather Meng Ao, who originally lived in Qi, came to Qin during the reign of Zhao Haoqi, the king of Qin. When he appeared in the history books as the king of Qin Zhuang, he continued to fight for Qin and later became Shangqing. In the early years of Qin Shihuang, he became one of the most important generals of Qin State. Meng Tian's father, Wu Meng, participated in the Qin Chu War as the general of Wang Jian (the grandfather of Meng Tian general Wang Li). By the time he arrived in Meng Tian, Meng Tian had been able to lead Qin Jun's main force in the Northern Expedition to Xiongnu at that time, and even Qin Shihuang's eldest son was sent to Meng Tian as an army supervisor. At the same time, Meng Qian introduced Meng Tian, the official to Shangqing, and led the troops to the war. His family status is even more important than when Meng Ao was alive. But it also caused contradictions and conflicts of interest with Hu Hai, Reese and Zhao Gao, which eventually led to the demise of the Montessori family.

Meng Tian had various comments in later generations. According to historical records, Sima Qian believed that Meng Tian had a high status at that time, the Qin Dynasty had just been established, and the people had just come out of the war. It is guilty to actively build the Great Wall instead of discouraging Qin Shihuang from abusing people's power.
