Yang Guoqiang, male, born in May, 1948, 1985 obtained a master's degree in history from East China Normal University. In 2003, he was hired as a lifelong researcher of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences. Now he is a professor and doctoral supervisor at Simian College of Humanities, East China Normal University. Researcher of China Institute of Modern Thought and Culture of East China Normal University, special researcher of historical documents of Shanghai Library, director of Shanghai Historical Society.
