1898, 17-year-old Lu Xun left his hometown and came to Nanjing. He defected to an uncle named Jiao Sheng and entered the Jiangnan Naval Academy. He thought that his descendants were "noble" when they came here to prepare to be a flag-waving sailor instead of taking the right path of glorifying their ancestors.
