In the finale of Love Debt, the Chiang family of seven invited the whole village to dinner. Before dinner, my uncle asked Yoshiko to write a document and asked Jiang Qi to invite Zhu Si. My second uncle asked Zhu Si, Qi Sister-in-law and Dagen to sit down and show Yoshiko the document. It said that Jiang Dagen would be adopted to Zhu Si and asked Zhu Si if he would like to. Both of them agreed and pressed their fingerprints.
My uncle then asked Dagen if he would like to, but Dagen didn't understand. My uncle asked him who he wanted to be with, and Dagen said he would be with his parents and fourth uncle. My uncle asked him to press his handprint and put it on Zhu Dagen. My second uncle told Dagen that from today, he is the son of his fourth uncle and will leave the Chiang family from today. Dagen cried and said, "I won't go, I won't go." He fell into the arms of his seventh sister-in-law. The villagers were moved and everyone felt uncomfortable. Everyone bought a lot of things to send Zhu Si and Dagen, and Zhu Si drank goodbye with everyone. On Jiang's kang, Dagen fell asleep with his mother in his arms. Da Ya, Er Ya and San Ya lay side by side on the kang and looked at Dagen. The family spent the last night together. The next morning, the whole village came to see me off. After saying goodbye to everyone, Zhu Si left with Dagen. They left, too. Only Seventh Sister-in-law still stood there recalling the past, and did not move for a long time. "Love Debt" tells the story of "pimping" in rural areas of Northeast China in 1970s and 1980s, starring Li Youbin.
