Hangzhou Foreign Language School, founded in 1964, is the first batch of key foreign language schools in China. It was put forward by Premier Zhou Enlai and Foreign Minister Chen Yi, aiming at cultivating advanced foreign language talents to meet the development needs of China's opening to the outside world. Hangwai is a well-known foreign language school in China and enjoys the qualification recommended by the Ministry of Education.
