Bletilla striata is mainly planted in Damiao Township, Zhushan County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, with a small amount planted in Liulin, Shuangtai, Wenfeng, Loutai and other townships.

Zhushan County borders Shennongjia, a world-famous Chinese medicine warehouse. Natural conditions such as climate, soil, vegetation and environment are very suitable for the growth of various Chinese herbal medicines, and the resources of Chinese herbal medicines are very rich. According to the survey, there are 607 kinds of Chinese herbal medicines in the county, including 546 kinds of plants, 56 kinds of animals and 5 kinds of minerals.
