What kind of resume does HR like to read?
All the basic information is detailed and true.

Basic information is divided into three categories:

1) education background: graduation institution, major studied, year of admission and graduation, whether it is unified recruitment and grading, these are all indispensable. If it's a master's degree, please don't leave out the bachelor's degree (many people don't write if they don't have a good bachelor's degree, please, this is shattered glass), and indicate whether the master's degree is full-time or on-the-job.

2) Work background: company, position, start and end date, department, number of employees and reporting target. These are the objects we will study.

3) Language level: just one thing: can you speak English! ! ! Can you speak English? ! ! Can you speak English fluently? ! ! ! You get extra points if you know 1.2, but two points can't make up for your lack of fluency in English, that's all.

Basically, this is all the information we need to get in 13 seconds. These are the hard conditions for our personnel screening. If the hard conditions are not up to standard, it is useless to be soft. At the same time, these should also be the general framework of a resume. After that, let's talk about how to polish your resume and make people shine.

Have very detailed work content and performance.

Since I am in the Internet industry, I will take the most basic programmer resume on the Internet as an example.

1, java background development

2, part of the front page writing

This is called nothing.

1. As a java programmer, the background module is mainly responsible for writing background code, including database operation, sql statement optimization, wsdl technology calling interface, generating interface, writing interface document, drawing flow chart, etc.

2. The realization of the foreground page. I am mainly responsible for the backstage module, but I know some techniques of the front desk. I also learned the technology of html5 and css3 during my work, so I will also help realize the homepage at work.

3.git project management. Including the creation and deletion of remote git warehouse projects, the setting of project operation permissions in gitolite, etc.

That's much better. number

1. Participate in the design of Oracle's enterprise management system (ERP), involving the development of financial modules, skillfully using JAVA and framework technology, and Oracle database PL/SQL.

2. Research the use of big data related technologies to solve the analysis of massive logs, store the data in hadoop platform, then import the analysis results into Oracle database, and show the results through Spring framework. Familiar with various open source technologies in hadoop ecosystem such as hdfs, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, HBase, etc. Proficient in using Java programming language and Linux scripting language.

Classmate, I feel you are hanging.

If you are a Java writer, I want to know not only whether you can write Java, but also how and on what platform you write it. What frameworks are used? What are the related supporting technologies? What is a database? What exactly did you write? For who? Is it for internal use of the company or a project of Party A? Is it responsible for architecture design or module development or later bug debugging? What else is there besides Java? The more I know about you, the more I can judge whether you are suitable for this position, which will be more effective for our future communication.

Must have project experience.

This is a place that many people ignore. Many people think that I just need to fill in the work experience completely, so I don't need to fill in the project experience. This is all wet! An HR of BAT once told me: For candidates in non-high-end positions, their resumes will not be passed directly because they don't know what you have done.

The significance of the project experience is that, in addition to the extremely similar work experience, the project experience gives those candidates who really perform well a good opportunity to show themselves.

What kind of projects have you done? Which company is it from? How big is it? What is the end-user group? What is your role in this project? Is it a participant or an organizer or a person in charge? Is it responsible for customer demand communication in the early stage or project delivery in the later stage? What kind of results have been achieved? How do customers evaluate you? Have you ever finished this project ahead of schedule? What experience did this project bring you? Can you accumulate certain industry resources?

This is just the information that we can analyze from a project. When multiple projects are combined, we can clearly perceive which industries or fields are the main customers of the candidate's main base. What level of customers are they? And what kind of people are talking to him at Party A? These are equally important for later communication. So you don't need to write in such detail (otherwise you don't need to ask for an interview), but you must write about the project experience!

The overall professional experience should be coherent.

Strictly speaking, this is not the skill of writing a resume, but the work to be done in career development planning. But these will eventually be reflected in the resume.

It's very simple. If you have done R&D in 15, I will assume that your next job should basically be R&D. If you do R&D for three years, then switch to architecture, and then switch to MKT after three years before resale, which is a development path getting closer and closer to the front end, then I default that your next job responsibilities should still be sales, marketing and pre-sales. But if you do R&D for several years, then do delivery, then do pre-sales and become a project manager two years later, I'm sorry, I can't judge what you want to do in the future, and it's hard for me to recommend such a resume to the company.

Therefore, before you jump ship, you must have a general understanding of your career development plan, know what you are suitable for, what you want to do, and how to achieve it, instead of blindly jumping ship and sacrificing your future development opportunities just because of the salary increase of thousands of dollars!

Someone asked me to do 15 years of research and development, and now I want to do something else. What should I do? My answer is to seek opportunities for internal transfer. Generally speaking, for employees with good performance, the company will give them some job-hopping opportunities or policies, or you can directly discuss with your current superior leader and tell him your thoughts to see if he can help you. 1-2 years in a new position, there will be no difficulty in seeing new opportunities, otherwise external companies will not spend money to risk a novice to try different responsibilities, especially those who are older and under 30 years old.

Have a clear self-evaluation and job hunting intention.

Please don't take the evaluation of "working hard, being kind to others and communicating actively" as the main part, and no one will read it. What we want to see is the mastery, familiarity, understanding and in-depth understanding of XXXX in the XXXX environment. To put it bluntly, it is a summary of your skills. Very simple, you say you can do it, you may not be able to do it; You said you couldn't do it, of course you couldn't.

As for hobbies, we really don't care whether we like playing football or swimming, reading books or listening to music. What we want to see is "visiting technical forums and reading advanced Java programming".

As for your intention to apply for a job, please explain what your current interest is, what job opportunities you want to find in a company, and why you apply for this position. We will be very happy ~

One last tip: Please name your resume as "position applied for-name-graduation school-current company-working years", and HR will appreciate you very much.

Pass on a little secret

Finally, I'll tell you a little secret in return for what you actually saw here: many times, you used to submit resumes, especially those of big companies, because people received too many resumes and didn't read them at all. So if the stone sinks to the bottom of the sea, don't be discouraged. It is not that you are not good enough, but that you have not been discovered. How to solve this problem? Please find someone who has already worked in this company to make an internal recommendation for you, or find a headhunter to recommend you, so that your resume will be given priority. If you don't have such a channel, and you are interested in the position in this company, please call the company's front desk and transfer to HR recruitment department (real-name registration system may be required), and tell him directly who you are and which position you are applying for, so that she can have a look. The HR in the general workplace will log in to the system to help you have a look. If you think it will disturb her, she will be unhappy. Try to find a HR in charge of recruitment in the corresponding company on linkedin, add her friends, send her a private message, and convey your initiative to her in short, she will be very happy.
