Academician Zhou was appointed as the first tenured professor in Xiangya Hospital in the past 100 years.

Xiangya Hospital of Central South University held an appointment ceremony to appoint Professor Zhou, academician of China Academy of Engineering and director of the Institute of Clinical Pharmacology of Xiangya Hospital, as a tenured professor of Xiangya Hospital. This is the highest academic honor of Xiangya Hospital, and Academician Zhou is also the first tenured professor since Xiangya Hospital 1 13 was established.

The appointment ceremony was presided over by Professor Gong Zhicheng, Vice President of Xiangya Hospital. Professor Zhang Xin, secretary of the Party Committee, read out the letter of appointment, and Professor Lei Guanghua, president, presented the letter of appointment and trophy to Academician Zhou. Professor Sean, Vice President of Central South University, all hospital leaders and all middle-level cadres of Xiangya Hospital attended the ceremony.
