Born in July of 1948, he was born in Ziyang, an amateur painter and poet. Party member, a village doctor, has successively joined the ziyang Calligraphers Association and the Sichuan Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, and won more than 20 excellent prizes in the first Sichuan Hard Pen Calligraphy Competition, the National Golden Dragon Cup Song of Lei Feng, the Spring Pen Cup Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Masters Competition and the World Peace Cup respectively. Some of his works have been selected into more than ten series, such as China Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Artists Series Album, China Hard Pen Calligraphy Masterpiece, Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Masters Classic, and Twentieth Century China Painting and Calligraphy Artists' Works Auction Library. Some of his works have been exhibited and collected in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and other places at home and abroad. Self-composed words "Letter from Home" and "Singing Willow Trees" were selected as "Hong Kong Boutique Painting and Calligraphy Calendar" and "Moyuan Boutique Calendar", and the poem "Four Seasons Map" and photography "Summer Morning" won the bronze prizes of "Simian Mountain Cup" and "Jiuzhou Three Gorges Cup" respectively.
