Hamsters don't hibernate in winter
Hamsters do not hibernate in winter, so they don't hibernate like normal temperature mammals. However, hamsters will enter a pseudo-hibernation state. Hamsters enter a state of pseudo-hibernation, and their bodies become cold and stiff, and they enter a state of suspended animation.
When hamsters enter a pseudo-hibernation state, breeders need to raise the temperature in time to wake them up. Also feed the hamster with glucose water to restore physical strength.
If the hamster enters a false hibernation state at home and the breeder fails to wake it up in time, the hamster will not wake up and die. It is suggested that breeders keep hamsters warm in winter to prevent hamsters from entering a false hibernation state.
