Experience sharing of studying abroad in Japan
Case Person: Chen Jian, who went to China to study in 20001,then studied at Kobe Circulation Technology University, and worked in Soft Plan, a listed company in Zhengdong in 2007. In June 2009, he founded Venture Shinkansen and China Employment Support Agency. He said: studying abroad, strangeness, loneliness and poverty permeate the lives of international students all the time. Only by sticking to your own beliefs and carrying them out can you become a real strong person.

Japan's Work and Employment Experience Sharing

I came to Japan only to study business or management, but the only national university offering business is Kobe University. I don't think it is possible to get into the national examination at my age and level, so I didn't consider going to a national university. I applied to three private universities: Tongshe University, Gulong University and Kobe University of Circulation Technology, among which Gulong University failed.

Tongshe University is located in Kyoto, and its work is relatively difficult. In my opinion, the reputation of the school is second, and whether it can live better is more important. Even if you can get into a prestigious school, you can't get tuition remission, apply for a scholarship or get a job, which will only increase your burden. Kobe Circulation Technology University is located in Kobe, so it is more convenient to work than Kyoto, with fewer international students and better scholarships. I won a four-year scholarship at Kobe Circulation Technology University. Another important reason is that this university was founded by Nakauchi Isao, the founder of Dai Rong Supermarket, and Nakauchi Isao is a very respected celebrity in Kobe. At that time, he was still alive and attending a class at the university. I think it will be more practical to listen to the courses of top Japanese operators than to be famous in universities, so I chose Kobe University of Circulation Technology.

When I first arrived in Japan, I worked in a factory and a restaurant. I worked in a massage parlor in college and finally became a manager. Because there is a family to support in China, the monthly income is basically between 200,000 and 300,000 yen. It is also our custom to work outside to earn money and send it home.

Study outside of part-time job

There are actually many kinds of learning, depending on how you learn. I think my biggest difference is that I used to work in a family company and was half an operator, so my study was particularly purposeful. Generally speaking, students publish reports at seminars, and they all look for information and write some ideas online, but the actual content is relatively small. And I will proceed from reality, for example, I will proceed from the massage shop where I work, and make various investigations and comparisons on geographical location, visitors and service content. Apply what you have learned in class to the operation of massage shop, then make a report and publish the feedback. Therefore, teachers and companies are very satisfied with my achievements, and I have also learned a lot of business knowledge and experience.

Graduation and inauguration ceremony

My inauguration activities began in the second half of my junior year (2005). Like many students, I started with self-analysis and preparation for various entrance exams. I was chatting with a guest at the massage parlor. He said that you China people are so amazing that you can run your own company in Japan and get the first listing in Zhengdong. I thought it was novel, so I chatted with him. He lent me a CD of Mr. Song Wenzhou's speech, and I bought his book Strange Japanese Businessmen myself. After reading it, I felt benefited a lot, because I always wanted to do business, and I just stared at the business position when I took office. However, Mr. Song Wenzhou's book actually criticizes Japanese business very badly. I want to enter this company and see what kind of career he advocates. Therefore, after reading this book, I am bent on entering this company. I put all my energy into taking office and gave up all other interview opportunities.

Times have changed. With the rise of China's economy, studying abroad for the purpose of earning money by working in Japan is no longer the mainstream. I hope that the vast number of international students will stop looking at studying in Japan with their previous concepts. If you want to adapt to this era, you must learn more and apply what you have learned. There are many opportunities in Japan.
