Goldman Sachs basically only recruits graduates from top universities, such as Oxford, Cambridge, LST, Harvard, Princeton, Columbia University and University of California, Berkeley.

For most young people who work in the Beijing or Shanghai office of Goldman Sachs, their college time is spent in top universities in China, such as Peking University, Tsinghua University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Fudan University and Shanghai Jiaotong University (Beiqing Shangcai Primary School is their target school). Before joining Goldman Sachs, almost everyone in our sample completed one or two internships. Sabrina Chan, an analyst in the Hong Kong office, is the most surprising.
