Liu Weidong, the eldest son of the founding general Liu Zhen, graduated from the Political College of the People's Liberation Army, and later served as the political commissar of the 32nd detachment of the Navy Submarine.1In June 1990, he served as the political commissar of Yulin Base in Ren Haijun.1In March 1997, he served as the deputy political commissar of the South China Sea Fleet. Liu Weiping, the third son of Liu Zhen, the founding general, and party member of the Communist Party of China, was awarded the rank of Major General of the Chinese People's Liberation Army in 2006 and is currently the deputy chief of staff of the General Logistics Department of the China People's Liberation Army.

Liu Zhen, 19 15, from Hubei. First he joined the Red Guards, then he became the Red Army. After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC), Liu Zhen served as the air force commander of the Volunteers and participated in the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. Later, he was awarded the rank of founding general and served as deputy commander of China Air Force. Later, he served as president of the Air Force Academy, deputy commander of shenyang military area command and member of the Military Commission until/kloc-0 died in Beijing in 1992 at the age of 78.
