Brief Introduction of Homesickness of Cleaners
Title: In memory of the cleaner (Chinese painting)

The Memory of the Cleaner is a Chinese painting by China's famous modern painters Lu Chen and Zhou Sicong on the first anniversary of the great Zhou Enlai's death (1977 65438+ 10). It's in the China Art Museum now.

At dawn on the screen, Zhou Enlai, then Prime Minister of the State Council, appeared in the street wearing a black coat and shook hands with the street cleaners at work. Judging from the yellow leaves on the ground and the dead leaves left on the branches, it is late autumn or early winter, otherwise Zhou Enlai, who is not afraid of the cold, would not wear a coat.

Zhou Enlai on the screen is kind and easy-going, holding the cleaner's hand with both hands and smiling kindly. The cleaner's expression of moving, surprise and happiness is clearly presented on the screen.

Judging from the fact that the cleaners are still holding brooms and garbage cans, it shows that the cleaners are working and did not know in advance that the Prime Minister was coming to visit them in the street. So the cleaner's slightly inclined expression shows that he still doesn't believe his eyes: is there something wrong?

It is worth mentioning that Zhou Enlai has always advocated pomp and simplicity, and opposed crowding round; According to the memories of the staff around Zhou Enlai before his death, when the Prime Minister traveled, the police car was not allowed to clear the way in front, and only one car followed.

In the photo, a car is parked in the distance behind Zhou Enlai. It is not clear whether the guard or the driver is standing beside the car. If it's a guard, then Zhou Enlai didn't ask the guard to come with him to find the workers.

From a security point of view, the guards are dereliction of duty. However, he can't go against the wishes of the leaders-this arrangement vividly embodies the great love of "the people love the people forever, and the people's prime minister loves the people", which is also the eternal yearning of the Chinese nation for the great man Zhou Enlai!

The painter also wrote the following words at the bottom left of the painting:

Nostalgia of cleaners

In this dead of night street, who would have thought that the Prime Minister was holding my hand with a broom handle: "Comrade, you have worked hard, and the people thank you." Let my heart warm and tears fill my eyes. Premier, how many times have you been worried about the people's joys and sorrows in the worst time of the night? Prime Minister, who said you left? You didn't go-the people's prime minister shines with the sun and the moon, and the people's nostalgia and the world will last forever.

108, Dear Premier Zhou Enlai passed away. With infinite admiration and mourning, I wrote touching Memories of Cleaners and Dear Premier Zhou, we will miss you forever after one year. The former depicts Premier Zhou walking out of the Great Hall of the People in the early morning and shaking hands with a cleaner in the street. "Comrade, you have worked hard, and the people thank you!" In a word, the old worker was warm in his heart and burst into tears; When this painting was exhibited on 1977, many people stood in front of it and silently wiped their tears.

1978, devoted herself to painting "The People and the Prime Minister"-she recalled 1966 that there was a strong earthquake in Xingtai, Hebei Province, and Premier Zhou rushed to the earthquake zone to personally inspect the disaster situation and cordially sympathize with the affected people; The painter showed the deep feelings of the people and the Prime Minister through the meticulous depiction of the group images. This work is the pinnacle of Zhou Sicong's early realistic creation, and won the first prize of the 6th National Art Exhibition from 65438 to 0979.
