1996 received a bachelor's degree in fine chemical engineering from Beijing Institute of Light Industry; In the same year, he entered China Daily Chemical Industry Research Institute to study surfactants.

In 2005, he received his Ph.D. from the Graduate School of China Academy of Sciences. In the same year, he worked in the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of Inner Mongolia University.
