Shi Yu, formerly known as Zhang Hongjun, 1957, was born in Mengjin County, Henan Province, and was the hometown of Shenbi Wang Duo. Over the years, I have been engaged in traditional hand-mounted calligraphy and painting, and I am never tired of printing poetry and calligraphy. I have loved calligraphy and painting since I was a child, and I have been studying ancient posts for 40 years. In recent years, he devoted himself to the study of Wang Duo's calligraphy style. He studied under calligrapher Wang Junsheng and 90-year-old Duan Baozhai. Make the past serve the present, learn from others, and form its own unique style. His calligraphy is upright and dignified, unconventional, ups and downs, atmospheric brushwork, rigorous statutes and vivid meanings. His works have won many awards, and he was selected into the China Celebrity Book of Painting and Calligraphy. At present, he is an academician of Harmonious Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute, vice president of Wang Duo Painting and Calligraphy Institute, director of the International Artists Federation, president of An Qujiang Academy and member of An Calligraphers Association.
