The naval forces guarding the island belong to the naval coastal defense forces (coastal defense forces).

Naval forces deployed in important coastal areas to participate in coastal defense operations with firepower. It consists of coastal artillery units and coastal missile units. There are usually independent regiments and battalions. Some countries have coastal defense headquarters.
