He graduated from Peking Union Medical College in 2000 with a doctor's degree in medicine. His graduation designer was Professor Guan Heng, a famous expert in vascular surgery in China, and won the third prize of the national young surgeon thesis in the same year.

Since 2000, he has worked in the surgery department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. In 2003, he began to work in vascular surgery. In 2004, he was promoted to an attending physician. In 2007, he obtained the qualification of deputy chief physician of the Ministry of Health.
