Born in 1970, Master of Chinese University of Hong Kong, Associate Research Fellow in Sociology. Subject expertise and research direction: sociological theory and method, social security, social network and career mobility. He is currently an associate researcher in the Department of Labor Economics and Human Resource Management of Guangdong University of Finance.

The research contents include: the quality of officials in a district government in Guangzhou; Social security for landless peasants and vulnerable groups; Resettlement and transfer of population in central towns of Guangzhou: the professionalism of lawyers, certified accountants and designers in Guangzhou; Research on administrative efficiency of party and government organs in a district of Guangzhou.

The Research on Emergency Early Warning and Emergency Response Mechanism, which participated in the national social science fund project, won the third prize of Guangdong Excellent Achievement Award in Philosophy and Social Sciences in 2008-2009 and the second prize of Guangzhou Excellent Achievement Award in 2008-2009 respectively.
