When making a table, you may want to refer the format in the cell to the current text. How to achieve this with a format brush is as follows.

1. First, open the sample table in the computer and take WPS as an example, as shown in the figure.

2. At this point, you should use the format of the text in the cell on the left, as shown in the figure, and select the text.

3. Then in the toolbar start interface, click on the' format brush', as shown.

4. After clicking' Format Brush', the mouse arrow will turn into a cross with a brush next to it, as shown in the figure.

5. Move the mouse to the table where you want to refer to the format and click it to successfully refer to the format, as shown in the figure.
