1987 studied in the philosophy department of northwest university and obtained a bachelor's degree in philosophy; 1994 studied in the Department of Economics of Fudan University with a master's degree in economics; 1997 entered the School of International Economics, Nankai University, with a doctorate in economics; March 5438, 2006-March 2002 at Columbia University.

He is currently a researcher at the Institute of World Economics and Politics of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and director of the International Trade Research Office.
